Invitation to a Beautiful Soul

Invitation to a Beautiful Soul

Oh, beautiful soul

will I ever find you

amidst the stillness

of my star-stained blue?

One, sweet, beautiful soul

to connect to mine

beyond where stars

in solemness shine

where no beautiful soul

dare seeks, afraid to find

another's soul shining

of some familiar kind?

Oh, beautiful soul

please reach to touch

heart parts of me

that yearn for such

a deeper beautiful soul

as you possess,

to calm what haunts

my forlorn breast

beating a sweeter, beautiful soul,

ache-stretching far to reach

another, only to discover

beyond the barren breech,

some other beautiful soul

floating deep in onyx space

awaiting the surge of joy

found in fondest embrace.

Oh, beautiful soul

were you born for me

to harness your essence

and forever flow free

where beautiful souls

escape fate's empty flight

into the stark darkness

of their starless night,

where no beautiful soul

dare roam alone

to lie down, unfound,

in companion's home

amidst unbeautiful souls

lost in the ugly mire

of fleeting love's raging

its flesh craving desire?

Somewhere beautiful souls

join single, then mingle as one

and find solace, hand in hand

on their shared journey home.

Surrender to another beautiful soul

in desperate hope to be

the soul given that each

so driven, so desperately needs,

while hearts unite, beautiful souls

take fate's flight into a peace

that knows no stranger's anger

  nor disrespect's release.

So, save me, most beautiful soul

from an anguish of periled pain.

Let no unkindness of another

dare ever reign within again,

nor mar this beautiful soul

to suffer a torrid tortured will

that leaves one broken, lost alone

where no soul could ever heal.

Have mercy, oh, beautiful soul.

Hear this weary warrior's cry.

Take my hand, take my heart,

and together, let us fly

into an eve where beautiful souls

find the shine of another's star

and shine together for forever

where only lonely, beautiful souls are.
