Sunlit smoke upon an unstirred, tranquil water,

two together glide grace into the moist, morn's mist,

sipping dewdrops as each breath breathes for each other

a fresh found taste of autumn's blessed bliss.

Phantom ghosts upon a dawn-soft waiting water,

two together dip hope into day's daydream tryst,

spiraling, sparkling on each glistening glance, no other,

in haste may taste the sun-drenched cygnet's kiss.

Sheer serenity upon a sullen soul still water,

two together trail truth through bold new day's rapport,

ripple bob each tiny baby bubble's brother,

sent slapping low to taste the shallow, shadowed shore.

Singing sirens upon a restless, restful water,

two together pray joy beyond the touch of rush,

heavenly heart songs of each master's muse, fond mother,

echo flow to taste the artist's tender brush.

No purer pair dare part the pristine air

to together dance the dreams of tandem swans.
